Battle of Britain - Vevey CWGCC

The Swiss Branch will give thanks, on this the 77th Anniversary, to all those who participated in the Battle of Britain and in particular remember those who lost their lives. 

This is one of the most important dates in the RAFA calendar, and your Committee hopes that there will be a large attendance again.  It is important that we remember and pay just tribute to those who gave their lives, and for those who survived and still struggle with life to this day as a result of all that they suffered, so that we may continue to live in a free world. 

The venue is the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery at St. Martin's, Vevey, meeting on Sunday, 17 September at 10.45 a.m. for a short ceremony which will start at 11 o'clock

Lunch at 60 CHF per head (menus overleaf) will be taken at the Café Restaurant du Port, Vevey for those who send their names to:
